One of the first blends ever created was the Virginia Blend after the method of flue-curing tobacco was discovered in the U.S. in 1839 in Caswell County, North Carolina.

USTC’s traditional Virginia blends includes only one type of tobacco:

  • U.S. Flue-Cured Tobacco (Virginia, FCV): Because of its pleasant smoke attributes, U.S. flue-cured tobacco is used alone to create exquisite Virginia Blends.

USTC creates another variation of Virginia Blend known as “Canadian Blend,” which traditionally contains a combination of U.S. FCV, Canadian FCV, and occasionally Oriental tobaccos. The taste and aroma is unique and preferred in the Canadian market.
